Jonathon O’Dougherty (Born 22 February 1978), is a Welsh ice dancer who competed for Britain with partner and wife, Pamela O’Connor. Before teaming with O’Connor, he competed with Tessa McGarry. Jonathon and Pam retired in 2005, and now coach figure skaters and ice dancers at Sharks Ice in San Jose, California.
In 1999, he appeared in Robbie William’s music video for “She’s the One”.

Jonathon was born in Wrexham, Wales on 22 February 1978. He has one brother, who also skated competitively.[1] Jonathon graduated from South Nottingham College in 2004 with a degree in Sports Science.[2] He and Pam moved to California in 2004, then moved to Minnesota in 2007, where they married. They moved back to California in 2009, where they continue to coach at Sharks Ice in San Jose, California.
He now studies at San Jose State University.
Jonathon first started to skate when he was twelve years old.[1] Before he began ice dancing, he skated individually and was one of the representatives for Great Britain in international competitions. When he first started to ice dance, he teamed up with Tessa McGarry, his coach’s daughter, then in 1995,[3] joined forces with Pam. Together they achieved bronze medal at British Junior ice dance championships their first year together.
In 2003 they won British Figure Skating Championships. They trained in Great Britain and France until they moved to California to train with Sergei Ponomarenko and Marina Klimova, Olympic gold medalists.

Jonathon and Pam appeared in the 2006 Australian TV show, Torvill and Dean’s Dancing on Ice. Jonathon’s celebrity partner, Giaan Rooney, injured her ankle before the second episode.
They have coached several ice dancers and singles skaters, including Madeline Heritage and Nathan Fast,[4] and Katie Dano.
